I don’t ride my scooter to work everyday. Factors like the weather, the tools I might need for the day, and waking up a little late cause me to not scoot to work more often than they should. Work is about 38 miles (61km) from home and the worst part of my job is the drive into town and dragging back home again. In the car that is, but when I ride to work its a whole ‘nuther story.  When I scoot to work I’m in a great mood by the time I get there. I get to take a little spin when I go out for lunch. When its quittin’ time, I get the much deserved reward of a relaxing ride home. Most people seem to think I ride a scooter for the economy angle, or to be “green”.  Those are both good reasons to have a scooter, just not my reason. FUN is why I scoot, thats really it. If your a scooterist but you don’t scoot to work, give it a try. Recreation isn’t just for weekends.
